Domain, hosting & SSL expiry reminders
Know what expires before it does.
Renewly tracks your domain names, hosting plans and SSL certificates, finds the expiry dates for you, and sends email and push reminders in good time to renew them.
Three steps, then it looks after itself.
Add what you look after once. Renewly watches the dates and speaks up when one is getting close.
Add what you look after
Type a domain or web address and Renewly finds its expiry date and registrar. SSL certificates are checked automatically, and again on a schedule, so a renewed one updates itself. Hosting you enter yourself.
See it all in one list
Everything in one place, soonest first, grouped by site or customer. Colour tells you at a glance what needs attention.
Get told in time
An email and a notification before each renewal, and again if one slips. Each reminder goes out once, so it never nags.
Email, notifications, or both. Each with its own stages.
Have the email at every stage and a notification only in the last week. Or the other way round. The switches are per channel, per stage.
Hosting “Lapesely hosting” is due to expire in 7 days (24/06/2026).
24/06/2026A clear email, in your own words.
Colour that matches the urgency, the date, and what it is. Change the wording if you like, and send yourself a test before it matters.
On your Mac, your iPhone and your iPad.
One account, the same list on every device, in light or dark. A notification lands on all of them.

Light, dark, or whatever your device is doing.
Renewly follows your Mac, iPhone or iPad on its own, or you can pin it to light or dark inside the app.
- Status colours tuned for each. Red, amber and green stay readable on both, not just recoloured.
- The app icon changes too. On iOS 18 it has a light, a dark and a tinted form, and follows your home screen.
- Emails follow your mail app. Reminders arrive dark or light to match.
The small things that make it dependable.
Dates found and kept current
Domain dates come straight from the registry. SSL certificates are checked automatically from the live site and again on a schedule, so a renewed certificate updates itself and its reminders start over. Look any item up again whenever you like.
By site or by customer
A domain, its hosting and its certificate sit together. Give a customer one name and everything of theirs joins up.
Never nags
Each stage is sent once per item on each channel. Renew it and the cycle starts again by itself.
Email and push, separately
Switch each channel on or off and choose its own stages. Pick the hour they go out.
Your own message
Change the email subject and text, with the item's name, date and days left filled in. Send a test first.
Light and dark
Follows your device, or choose. The same list on Mac, iPhone and iPad, and a quiet edit mode so nothing changes by accident.
Questions about domain, hosting and SSL renewal reminders
What does Renewly keep track of?
Renewly tracks the three things that quietly expire: domain names, hosting plans and SSL certificates. They sit in one list, soonest first, and can be grouped by site or by customer.
How does Renewly find expiry dates?
For domain names it looks the expiry date and registrar up from the registry. For SSL certificates it connects to the live site and reads the certificate. Hosting renewals you enter yourself. A few registries don't publish expiry dates, and for those you can enter the date by hand.
Is SSL certificate expiry checked automatically?
Yes. Renewly reads the certificate from the live site and checks it again on a schedule, so when a certificate is renewed its new date is picked up and the reminders for it start over.
When are reminders sent?
At 30 days, 7 days, 3 days and 1 day before an item expires, and again on the day it expires. Each stage is sent once per channel, so it never nags, and you choose the hour they go out.
Can I get reminders by email and by push notification?
Yes. Email and push are separate: each can be switched on or off and has its own stages. Push notifications arrive on your Mac, iPhone and iPad.
Which devices does Renewly run on?
There are apps for Mac, iPhone and iPad that share one account and the same list, and you can also sign in on the web.
Does Renewly have a dark mode?
Yes. It follows your device's light or dark setting, or you can choose either one inside the app. The reminder email follows your mail app's mode in clients that support it.
What happens when I renew a domain, hosting plan or certificate?
Renewly picks up the new expiry date the next time it checks, and the reminder stages for that item start over on their own. For hosting, update the date yourself.
